Niki Pfeiffer has a signature style that embodies a sense of serenity with a spark of optimism. She takes her inspiration from lighting, colors, the smallest of details in nature and her fascination with hydrangea flowers. Painting these flowers is about capturing a moment in time that can easily be missed and giving life to it on canvas. One of the unique things she does on a commission basis is to paint hidden words into paintings that have special meaning to collectors. “One of my collectors had me paint her grandchildren’s names into the petals, and another requested some favorite travel locations that had special meaning for her and her husband,” she says.

She feels this unique approach not only enhances the artwork but also makes it a true reflection of the individuals who own it.
