I ponder if we are more defined by the container we are in, rather than what we are inside. Would we recognize ourselves if we could expand beyond our bodies? Provenance:Figurativas ’19, European Museum of Modern Art (MEAM), Barcelona, SpainMEAM hosted the 10th International Painting and Sculpture Competition of the Arts and Artists Foundation. The 14th ARC International Salon, along with the MEAM’s representational painting and sculpture competition, Figurativas, and The ARC Salon live show, was on exhibit December 6, 2019 through February 2020. This awe-inspiring international event featured artists from all over the world, showcasing the truly international nature and collaborative spirit of this new wave in contemporary art. Paige Bradley’s “Expansion Rising” was selected for this exhibition and featured alongside over one hundred figurative works by artists from around the globe.
